Minaret College was established as a co-educational Muslim College in 1992 with a student population of only 20 students. Currently there are about 930 students from pre-school to Year 12. The College serves a community of more than 35.000 spread over Melbourne southern and eastern regions. The College operates from Springvale campus which caters fro students from pre-school to Year 12. The College has completed its major development program, which puts our school in line with the most prestigious grammar schools. Our facilities are designed to integrate technology with all key learning areas of the curriculum. Minaret College’s facilities include: • Three well equipped computer labs for online learning and teaching; • Three specialized science laboratories for Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Electronics; • Art & Technology Centre including 2D and 3D Art rooms, Textile production, and facilities for wood, plastic, and metal work; • Resource Centre including computer workstations and an extensive Library designed to support the curriculum and integrate Islamic knowledge; • Multi-Purpose Hall including indoor sporting facilities and a large function hall with well equipped kitchen/canteen; • Food Technology lab and dining room.
